Brief description of the Research Team / Research Group / Department
Our research focuses on integrating computational chemistry with experimental data to tackle key challenges in enzyme catalysis, spectroscopy, and biomolecular structure. We specialise in multiscale modelling, including quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics (QM/MM), molecular dynamics (MD), and QM-only cluster modelling, with applications in drug design, enzymatic mechanisms, and antibiotic resistance. Our group collaborates with leading international institutions to advance enzyme engineering and biocatalysis. With experience in supervising researchers across multiple institutions, we offer a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment for postdoctoral researchers seeking to develop cutting-edge computational approaches for complex biochemical systems.
