Research Team & Research Topic

Research Team / Research Group Name (if any)
Group of Magnetic Devices
Brief description of the Research Team / Research Group / Department
Group of Magnetic Devices is devoted to the research of materials systems in order to develop new magnetic devices. The group is interested in the growth by sputtering and electrodeposition of metallic alloys mainly in the shape of thin films. The correlation between growth, and structural properties is crucial to tailor the magnetic properties. Nowadays we are focus on binary FeGa and TbFeGa alloys. We have also other research lines that we are nowadays developing as the synthesis of FeGa-based oxides.
Research lines / projects proposed
We have different national and local projects for the development of new nanostructured magnetic systems. We collaborate with different national and international partnes.
