Brief description of the Research Team / Research Group / Department
Prof. de la Moya’s research group focuses on the design and synthesis of highly accessible small organic dyes, particularly BODIPYs, for advanced photonic materials and applications in the Energy and Biomedical fields. Current research includes the development of circularly polarized light emitters for next-generation illumination and imaging technologies, smart fluorescent bioprobes, and sustainable laser dyes. The group has a strong interest in chiral organic dyes and their application in emerging chiroptical technologies.
