Brief description of the Research Team / Research Group / Department
The team lead by Soledad Cutuli is committed to develop a comparative and diachronic ethnography of labor inclusion initiatives for trans people in Spain and Argentina. Drawing on the perspective of political anthropology of sexualities, it examines the processes of demand, implementation, management, and defense of labor alternatives for trans people in both countries. It takes into account the heterogeneities within each territory, mapping different traditions, trajectories, and political divergences.

Research group: GINADYC
Anthropology, Diversity and Integration is a group of researchers in Anthropology who work to understand diversity and promote social integration. Our work deal with sexuality, sexual diversity at the school (homophobia and transphobia), masculinities, religious diversity in the public space, gender and health, spirituality and alternative therapies, religion and gender as well as new forms of family. Regarding these topics, we organize scientific events such as conferences and seminars for researchers, students, professionals and for everyone interested in analyzing and discussing diversity and coexistence.
Research lines / projects proposed
We hope to bring together anthropologists and other social scientists with a transfeminist perspective and an interest in examining the implementation and contestation processes of labor inclusion initiatives in Spain and Argentina. We are also interested in colleagues with experience in related fields, such as labor activism, cooperativism, and applied anthropology, among others.
