Brief description of the Research Team / Research Group / Department
GRIPICO is an inter-university research group with members from three universities based in Madrid: UCM, UAM, and UNED. Within the Complutense University of Madrid, its members belong to various departments and research institutes.
The group's main research focuses on the three aspects highlighted in its name: **innovation, productivity, and competitiveness**, applied to different sectors and areas of the economy. However, it also develops secondary research lines that are in some way related to its core themes.
GRIPICO consists of a large number of active researchers—close to twenty—and integrates three categories based on their academic career stage: senior researchers, early postdoctoral researchers, and young researchers in training.
Since its formation over 15 years ago, the group has consistently secured external funding, primarily from competitive national and international research projects. Within the group, more than ten doctoral dissertations on diverse topics have been successfully completed.
