CORALINGO (Linguistics, Discourse and Corpus: Didactics and Technological Applications)
Brief description of the Research Team / Research Group / Department
This group aims at developing research in the main European languages (Spanish, English, Italian, German, Portuguese) from a discursive and interactional perspective using corpus linguistics methodology. The results are applied to the field of language teaching mainly linked to the use of computer tools and social networks. We are particularly interested in spoken language (from phonetics to text structure), in pragmatic strategies and in the acquisition of the oral competence in L2.<br />The group is formed by linguists of different deparments (General Linguistics, Romance Languages, German and Slavic Languages) of the Faculty of Language Studies and encourages young researchers to take part in the project (PhD candidates, post-doc candidates, junior professors).
