Actually we have been granted a Research Project entitled: Cultural Produsage in social networks: Industry, cultural consumption and media literacy. In the Project we work with three coordinated groups: one from the Rovira i Virgili University, another from the University of Málaga and the third from the Complutense University.
The project plan is as follows


the present moment. The study will be mainly focused on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. The complexity of the phenomenon requires
to approach it from different disciplines.
We propose a coordinated project in order to obtain a greater depth in the results of the investigation and its subsequent impact. The joint
work from the different subprojects will allow us to approach and interrelate four great moments of the process of mediated
communication: The context of youth produsage in social networks (productive routines, cultural contributions, business), The analysis of
representations of sexual identities in social networks (subversions and reproductions of representations of masculinities and mainstream
feminities), The reception of the aforementioned produsage and its consequences for equality or inequality (including violence) in young
sexual identities and the educational applications of the results of the project (educommunication).
